{"id":54,"date":"2018-08-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gbc.ng\/fansunite-reaches-partnership-deal-with-leicester-city\/"},"modified":"2018-08-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-08-27T00:00:00","slug":"fansunite-reaches-partnership-deal-with-leicester-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gbc.ng\/index.php\/fansunite-reaches-partnership-deal-with-leicester-city\/","title":{"rendered":"FANSUNITE REACHES PARTNERSHIP DEAL WITH LEICESTER CITY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Leicester City Football Club<\/strong>\u00a0has announced a fresh partnership with Vancouver headquartered FansUnite, whose goal is one of \u201crevolutionising the sports betting industry by harnessing the power of blockchain technology\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Brought on board with The Foxes as an official partner for the 2018\/19 season, FansUnite details that it is to launch its sports betting protocol later this year, \u201cwith operators across the globe able to offer bettors lower fees, and an increased opportunity to profit for individuals\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>FansUnite is to work in conjunction with the club to launch a series of promotions in and around its King Power Stadium home, whilst it is to also embark on further marketing campaigns across England \u201cthat will bring Leicester City fans from all across the world together to celebrate their team\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darius Eghdami, FansUnite Chief Executive Officer<\/strong>, stated: \u201cLeicester City F.C. is one of the premier brands in all of football, being one of just six clubs to hoist the Premier League Trophy since its inception in 1992.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are at the forefront of incorporating new technology to help improve player performance and fan engagement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPartnering with a globally recognised brand, that shares our commitment to improving conditions for sports fans through the application of new technology was a natural fit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the duration of the season, at both home and away encounters, there is to be \u201cplayer meet-and-greets, contests, surprise giveaways and opportunities for LCFC fans to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, an added number of special engagements for all football fans is to also be included on the FansUnite platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jonathan Gregory, Leicester City\u2019s Commercial Director<\/strong>, commented: \u201cWe are proud to welcome FansUnite into our family of partners.
