Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas<\/strong>, presented by the\u00a0American Gaming Association (AGA)\u00a0<\/strong>and organized by<\/span>\u00a0Reed Exhibitions<\/strong>, officially begins today at the Sand Expo with more than 90 new exhibitors, amounting to a total of\u00a0<\/span>384 exhibitors, and over 100 new product launches<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

New for this year, G2E 2019 presents\u00a0Roundtable Talks\u00a0for Leadership, Tech, FinTech and Sports Betting sessions<\/strong>\u00a0in addition to its traditional\u00a0<\/span>Education sessions,\u00a0<\/strong>which already began Monday and will run through Thursday, October 17, along with the Expo Hall.\u00a0See full G2E 2019 Schedule.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Available on any Apple or Android device, the\u00a0<\/span>G2E Mobile App<\/strong>, powered by\u00a0<\/span>Konami<\/strong>, provides booth-to-booth GPS and attendee-to-attendee messaging, allowing to navigate to G2E\u2019s exhibitors highlighted on the map. It also supplies education session details and personalized exhibitor, session and product recommendations, the full exhibitor list, important show information and a personalized \u2018My Show\u2019 planner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also new this year, G2E has placed\u00a0<\/span>touch screen kiosks<\/strong>\u00a0located throughout the show floor as another way to easily and quickly find directions within the hall. The large-format, interactive screen displays and custom content includes education session recommendations, exhibitor lists, maps and key locations.<\/span><\/p>\n

G2E is also introducing the all-new\u00a0<\/span>G2E Hot Hits<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>a real-time ranking of exhibitors who are launching products and services at the event.<\/strong>\u00a0Each exhibitor will have a unique QR code on display in their booth, available for guests to scan with the G2E Mobile App and vote for the exhibitor with their favorite new product or service. The\u00a0<\/span>Hot Hits Leaderboard will update in real-time to rank the top ten exhibitors<\/strong>\u00a0featuring new products. The mobile app will also continually update so attendees can see who they voted for and who other visitors voted for.<\/span><\/p>\n

She added this year\u2019s educational content focuses on \u201cdisruption, spotlighting the convergence of technology with gaming and innovative thinking that has been the foundation of our industry. Over the course of four days, education attendees will have the opportunity to \u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00ad\u00adparticipate in any of the\u00a0<\/span>nine education tracks<\/strong>, ranging from<\/span>\u00a0iGaming Congress, Optimizing Gaming Operations, to Security, Surveillance and Compliance<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This year,<\/span>\u00a0Global Gaming Women<\/strong>\u2019s educational track will have a series of panels on October 15 and 16, and they are fully integrated into G2E\u2019s primary Educational Track programming, allowing for more attendees to learn from GGW\u2019s robust roster of experienced panelists.<\/span><\/p>\n

Former\u00a0<\/span>New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie<\/strong>, a vocal advocate for legal sports betting who led the charge to overturn the federal ban, will deliver a keynote address, titled \u201cHow New Jersey Fought the Feds and Won,\u201d which will take place Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m. PT on the Special Events Stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Compared to last year, there are an\u00a0<\/span>additional 12 sports betting exhibitors.<\/strong>\u00a0Together, with returning exhibitors, and in increase\u00a0<\/span>of 4,000 square feet, or 17,000 total of exhibit space is dedicated to sports betting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Sports Betting Symposium<\/strong>\u00a0will feature exclusive sessions on innovative business strategies, as well as accompanying educational content, access to sports betting exhibitors and top industry speakers at the forefront of sports betting globally.\u00a0<\/span>Gary Bettman, Commissioner of the National Hockey League (NHL)<\/strong>\u00a0will discuss new business partnerships with\u00a0<\/span>Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US<\/strong>;<\/span>\u00a0Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming<\/strong>; and\u00a0<\/span>Matthew King, CEO of FanDuel<\/strong>. \u201cExecutive Viewpoints: NHL Commissioner Bettman and Leading Gaming Executives Discuss New Business Partnerships\u201d session will be taking place on Wednesday, October 16 at 10:30 a.m. PT on the Special Events Stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now in its fourth year, the\u00a0<\/span>Innovation Lab, located at Booth #5833, will have sessions taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday<\/strong>. This year\u2019s program is organized across the following themes to address the ever-changing demographic of the game goer:\u00a0<\/span>Disruptive technology\u00a0<\/strong>(Tuesday, Oct. 15);\u00a0<\/span>New uses for existing technology<\/strong>\u00a0(Wednesday, Oct. 16); and<\/span>\u00a0Emerging trends<\/strong>\u00a0(Thursday, Oct. 17).<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2019\u00a0<\/strong>presentation ceremony was held Monday at the Sands Expo Convention Center, with 12 official Award Sponsors, BetConstruct as the Lead Partner, and powered by Gambling Insider in association with G2E.<\/span><\/p>\n

G2E\u2019s partnership with National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) will be reflected this year as the event promoted an exhibitor-led Fun Run,\u00a0<\/span>The Return to Player (RTP) 5k Fun Run for Responsible Gaming,\u00a0<\/strong>powered by\u00a0<\/span>Novomatic\u00a0<\/strong>and supported by\u00a0<\/span>G2E, AGA and AGEM<\/strong>. First of its kind during G2E, took place on Monday at the Springs Preserve, and it raised money for NCRG research programs.<\/span><\/p>\n
